How to use the Sollatek Lumina Low Voltage Lighting, Hints and Tips!
Remember that this lighting will NOT fix wiring problems! If you have wiring problems you need to sort these out first.
If you turn one light on in your boat and another glows dimly you probably have a short on your earth somewhere.
Installation is simple,
- Remove the covers (they just click off).
- Insert your -ve and +ve wires 12v, make sure the power is OFF
- Screw them in
- Screw the light to the surface with the provided screws (2)
- Insert the free bulb
- Click the Covers back on
- Turn on the Power, you will now have bright, low voltage lighting!
What size of bulb to go for?
Personally, I use the 7 watt due to the low voltage. These are very bright with 3 leisure batteries. It is probably worth buying a couple and wiring them in to taste, you can always purchase some higher wattage bulbs if you wish later on.
